At J Wickens Family Butchers traditional cuts of Sussex beef are beautifully dressed and presented, along with prime pork and Romney Marsh Lamb. The shop has an outstanding reputation for making award-winning speciality sausages, including favourites such as pork and leek, pork and apple, venison, beef with tomato and onion and lamb with rosemary and garlic. Beef burgers, lamb burgers, venison burgers and kebabs are all made on the premises.

Free-range and organic chicken is sold, together with traditionally cured bacon and superb beef, pork and game pies. As a licensed game dealer, pheasant, partridge, mallard, pigeon, woodcock, venison, wild boar, hare and rabbit is available when in season.

Jamie Wickens has won many local and national awards from the National Federation of Meat & Food Traders and is also immensely proud to be counted as one of Rick Stein's Food Heroes.
